A fun day in the sun can turn into a nightmare in the evening if you do not protect yourself properly.
Summer is closer, and we can finally enjoy more frequent sunny days.
Is there a safe way of sun tanning? How often should we put sunscreen on? How to combine sunscreen with other cosmetic products?
These are just some of the questions we need to answer for good protection.
Sun can cause damage to everyone, but especially careful should be those with
- Fair skin
- History of sunburn
- More than ten moles
- History of skin cancer in their family
There is no such thing as a safe tan. To be adequately protected, remember to:
- Put sunscreen on 20-30 minutes before going in the sun
- Use sunscreen first and all other products after it
- Apply sunscreen regularly – every 90 minutes
- Use a sufficient amount of sunscreen (one tablespoon of cream for your face and ¼ cup for your body)
- Avoid the sun between 10 am and 4 pm when the sun’s rays are the strongest
