The days are slowly starting to get a few minutes longer at a time, but we still have a way to go before we can wake up and come back home in daylight. And, what’s better on a dark winter’s evening than relaxing and making yourself comfortable at home?
It is understandable why people do this but if you want to survive winter without catching the flu or a cold, our second important tip is to “keep moving”. So fight the gravity of your sofa, as keeping active during winter is essential to support your health. You might do your exercise indoors to avoid unpleasant weather, and always make sure that you warm up your body sufficiently before you start, as this will help to avoid injuries to your joints, which are tighter when the weather is colder.
